NL Industries, Tahawus, NY
This project consisted of
asbestos abatement, iron ore
clean up and complete
demolition of 15 structures and
two 200-foot stacks at the
former iron ore manufacturing
facility in the Adirondack
Mountains. The demolition
process involved over one half
million square foot of concrete
and 10,000 tons of steel
materials that were downsized
and recycled.
