Former Deferiet Paper Mill Demolition

Project Background

Sabre performed demolition of the former Deferiet Paper Mill to grade. Several demoliiton scopes were performed by other Contractors prior resulting in scattered debris piles across the site. Several structures were heavily impacted by previous efforts in addition to severe dilapidation. Nearly all of the tructures onsite were condemned and unsafe to enter. Sabre performed demolition under applicable New York State (NYS) variance acquired by Jefferson County. Sabre demolished structures and cleaned up debris piles as asbestos containing material for loading into sealed containers for disposal at an approved landfill.

Sabre performed backfilling of voids created by demolition activities in an effort to safe out the former work area.
